Staybridge Suites in West Des Moines IA is seeking a dedicated and experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a valued member of our maintenance team, you will play a key role in ensuring the ongoing upkeep and functionality of our hotel property.
Key Responsibilities:
- Flexible availability with the ability to work on nights and weekends
- Perform regular maintenance tasks such as plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry work to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities.
- Conduct routine inspections of the property to identify and address any maintenance issues in a timely manner.
- Respond promptly to guest maintenance requests and take action to resolve any issues efficiently and effectively.
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance tasks and ensure minimal disruption to guests.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and equipment inventory.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a maintenance role, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting.
- Proficient in a variety of maintenance skills, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry work.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
